About
Nazilli Anatolian High School has been a state school since 1986 with 700 students and 54 teachers. Education in science, mathematics, social sciences, and foreign languages exists in the curriculum of all types of schools. The Nazilli Anatolian High School has all kinds of facilities such as ICT and Science labs, a conference hall, a library, a canteen, and many playing fields. In all classrooms, there are interactive boards.3 people work in management as 1 principal and 2 manager assistants. Our school has a good reputation, it is one of the most prestigious schools in the region, and relationship with authorities/media to reach its aim to make the project reach as many people as possible. Students have to take a national examination to be able to have the right to attend Nazilli Anatolian High School. Our students have been successful not only at university exams but also at social competitions. One of the priorities of Nazilli Anatolian High school is to carry out Erasmus projects.
ACTIVITIES AND EXPERIENCE
Our school has participated in too many local/national and international projects and competitions. Since 2008 we have made two Comenius Projects with 9 European schools. We conducted our first Comenius project ‘’Food and Health’’ between 2008 -2010. This project supplied good eating habits and lifestyles among students and teachers. We also learned about different cultures and cuisines by cooking and tasting very delicious meals. Our second project is called Green Building”. Between 2012-2014 we studied different ways of planning, designing, and constructing in Europe. We realized how important it is to live in a green building in order to help our ecosystem. Together by exchanging our architectural history, we made a demo of our own Green Building. These experiences have added great value to our organization in what concerns a European dimension, the development of language skills, and increased knowledge of other cultures. And our KA 229 Project ‘’ Green Alliences’ was carried out between 2018- 2020. It was about how eco-friendly we were. These projects have been rewarded with e-twinning quality labels Up to now we have conducted five etwinning projects. We also completed our tasks for Expo-Milano 2015 among 2750 schools and took our place among to 250 schools. Between 2017- 2018 we planted 10000 trees for Eno Treelympics which was organized by Finland. We have an ongoing Erasmus + KA 229 project on ‘’ Cyberbullying’’, which was granted in Poland and also we got one Erasmus+ KA220 sch and two Erasmus + KA 210 sch projects granted. They are currently being carried out.
